Summary: When the aliens somehow manage to take over, you'd think we'd still try to put up a bit more of a fight. But alas, the government has proven time and time again that they tend to balk whenever something gets too hard for them. And thus, we could expect a scenario where they decide to call an invading force of horrific murderous beings "legislators". But no spark of rebellion is ever truly out, now is there?

History: In 2019, an overwhelming alien invasion from strange spiked creatures later called the Legislators effortlessly took over Earth. Many years later, and the governments of the world answer to them as they force people to obey them all, destroying most of modern tech to subdue resistance. And what little resistance there was has petered out. Or has it? There are indeed those who have not given up the fight, and while they're not the heroes you'd expect, it's better than nothing.

Final Fate: After the plan seems to fail, the resistance's ultimate gambit comes into play, as the cop is revealed to be with it. The whole main colony of the Legislators goes up in flames as he suicide-bombs it to kingdom come. The act triggers a worldwide uproar, and the Legislators face certain doom as more and more people begin to rebel against their reign.

Powers/Abilities: By themselves, the Legislators can contort/stretch in unnatural ways, and unleash thousands of long spines from their bodies. Though some walk in full body armor just because. One of their methods for controlling and surveilling over people is implanting grub-like creatures into them. Any attempt to remove it is destined to end in death. They also have bizarre liquid-like explosives that are invisible to both them and humans.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 4-Even without their impressive technology and world-controlling ways, the Legislators are terrifying invaders. Their base forms are shadowy horrors with unsetting faces and the ability to become walking pincushions. Then they get armor and look like something out of a fascist nightmare. And of course, they cowed the entire human race to do their bidding for close to a decade. Alien invasions are not always so bombastic. Sometimes, it's just a bitter slow burn...until the inevitable resistance, that is.

Trivia: -This film was directed by Rupert Wyatt who, as the posters would let you know, basically kickstarted the entire "Planet of the Apes" reboot trilogy.

-One of the actors here was Machine Gun Kelly. Yes, that is the alias of a musician/actor that has composed for/been in several films.
